Skip by response
To change the flow of your form based on the response that your user chooses use SURVEYWin’s Skip by response function. The Skip by response function is powerful because it allows you to ask certain questions of your users based on earlie
r responses. Using this function will give your form a tailored and personal appearance and also save your users time because they will not have to answer questions that are irrelevant to them.
Using the Skip by response function
- Click on the question that you wish to associate a skip with and select Response | Skip by response from the Form Design menu. Note that only choice-type questions can be Skip by response which excludes write-in or date/
time fields.
- Select the response with which you want to associate the skip in the Response box.
- Highlight the page to which you want to skip in the All pages area. Click on the left arrow to add that page to the Page(s) to skip to box.
- If you want to skip to more than one page, repeat step 3 but highlight and send over a different page.
- You may perform these steps for any of the responses of your question.
Note: You must have all the pages that you want to skip to designed before you set your skips!
