The Cursor Box does not move through your form in a random fashion. There are very strict rules that govern its movement. The Cursor Box begins on the question that was created first regardless of its placement on the page. The Cursor Bo x will originally appear around the response button that was created first (unless you have specified a default response) and proceed to move among the responses from oldest to newest before it proceeds to the next question. If you prefer, you can set you r own sequence using the Question | Tab order of questions option. The Cursor Box moves among the Tool buttons (Next, Previous...) using a different protocol. The highest button is chosen first; if two buttons are on the same level, the C ursor Box will select the left most button first and then proceed to the right.
Select Question | Tab order of questions to change the way that users navigate your form. After highlighting a question, use the Up and Down buttons to arrange the order of navigation.
NOTE: Only objects that require interaction from the user will appear in the Tab order dialog.
