Further Reference - For Users of SurveyWin
There are a few differences between EZSurvey and SurveyWin that you need to consider.
Pages:
EZSurvey treats the organization of a form differently than SurveyWin. To make a multi-page web form, first set up all the questions in the order that you want them to be answered. Page breaks will occur at each group of section breaks. If you want a question to start on a new page, double-click on the question to see the options window, and check the Page break before this question box.
Skips:
Similar to SurveyWin, EZSurvey allows the user to skip to different questions and to different pages. To skip to another question you must first have created the question you wish to skip to. Then, in the Edit Form Window, select the question from which you want to skip. EZSurvey allows you to skip from both a particular question, as well as a specific answer. If you want to skip from one question to another, select the question, and in the Skip to Question box, select the question you wish to skip to. If you want to skip from an answer to a question, select the answer in the Edit Form Window, and then in the Skip to Question box, select the question you wish to skip to. Question types you can skip to are write-in text or number and single or multiple list, and date or time. If you need to skip to another question type, put the question on a separate page (with a page break) and use the Skip to Page option.
Another form of question skipping is the Follow-up questions. This acts like a pop-up window, similar to SurveyWin. When the Follow-up command is activated, a pop-up window will appear when the user selects the designated answer, and another question will be displayed. This question, however, will not be displayed otherwise.
All of these commands only allow the user to skip to another question on the same web page. So EZSurvey also includes a Page skip option. This will skip to the specified page when the user answers that question. To utilize branching in your form, you should use page skipping.
