Publish - Advanced Web Form Options

The Advanced Web Form Option window has three tabs, Responses, Passwords, and ODBC.

Responses:

The Responses tab has the options Maximum number of responses to accept and Message or URL to show if the maximum has been reached. This option lets only a limited number of users to submit the survey. When publishing to a UNIX web server, a ezscounts.ini file is used to hold the current count. (Only available in compiled CGI versions.).

  1. Open a project.
  2. Select Publish Create a web form.
  3. From the Web form setup screen, select More options.
  4. From the Responses tab, set the Maximum number of responses to accept and the Message URL to show if the maximum has been reached.
  5. Select Save

Note: If you select the option Send responses through email or use the PERL script to publish with. The Maximum number of responses to accept function may not apply.

Passwords:

The Passwords tab lets you specify permissions for specific tasks.

Note: The compiled web CGI must be used to apply these options.
